Hey folks, as one of our esteemed FBGs (Outlaw Assassin I think) made the general invite for the ESPN Gridiron challenge FBG group here (and I promptly finished 14th overall :) ) I figured I'd pay it forward by setting up a group for the playoff challenge (where I'll sure proceed to embarrass myself)

Here's the Link

Group name is FBG

Password is blackeyedjoe

Hope to see you guys there :boxing:

It was way to easy to fit a team under the cap.

Maybe someone who played last year can answer a question. When the salaries adjust next week, will your cap rise and fall with the new salaries or will you just be choosing a new team with a new $50 mil cap? Also, if your cap does adjust with the salaries, will the salaries of the players whose teams lost go to zero, thus significantly lowering your cap?

The prices you get the guy at is locked in. Example. I got Arian Foster in week 8 at this year $6.0m Say his price goes up to $7.8m (as it was late in the year)I get to keep him at $6.0m until I cut him. (Be very careful here, if you cut a guy in the middle of the week and try to get him back, you'll have to pay the higher rate if his price went up).Now if the price of a guy went down you can click "renegotiate contracts". This will drop the cost of any guys that had their price go down that week (but if you have a bargain such as Foster above, that is unchanged - i.e. renegotiating only helps you). The cap is always $50m. Price changes of players do not affect what you have to spend. So there you go.-QG

In.......SumthinNasty

my 17 year old is in as well.....SumthinNastyJr....

seemed a little too easy initially to field a solid group but guess that changes as the weeks move along and strategy kicks in.....
