Agree. I'd expect the Giants to win by 2 TDs, but I won't put money on it. Why?
1) Outside of last week, the Giants defense has been worse than the Jets. Pennington could throw for 3 TDs.
2) For anyone that has watched him, Eli is unpredictible. He could throw for 400 yards and 5 touchdowns against the Jets, or it could be 175 yards and 3 interceptions.
3) The Giants are still without their primary RB and their top WR is nicked.
Here's a surprising stat:
Giants average 99 rushing yards and 223 passing yards a game
Jets average 83 rushing yards and 200 passing yards a game
Offensivley, that's only an average of 40 yards more a game
Defensively, Giants allow 106 rushing yards and 220 passing yards a game
Jets allow 112 rushing yards and 253 passing yards a game
Offensivley, that's also only an average of 40 yards more a game
While the numbers look like the Giants should win by a small magin, the reason I wouldn't bet on this one is because of the unpredictability of Eli.
That said, I'm starting Eli over Favre this week...
