Freezing Rain in Philly Sunday (1 Viewer)

70% chance of Rain with a wintry mix of freezing rain. Game time temp 32 degrees.

Might want to consider benching guys like Hass, J. Brown, Philly WRs, and Sea WRs....if you have as good options playing in better weather.

strong chance of rain in chicago, tomorrow --- freezing rain/sleet today.

so, you might want to bench grossman.....

ok, that was a joke.

I'm going to start Josh Brown for this reason. Should be a running/low scoring affair. I'll take 4 FGs from Josh.

old fantasy rule: Start your starters. I'm going to start hasselbeck. Of course. I don't even have a backup in that league. Dilfer's on waivers should I start him instead? :hophead:

Considering Selvin Young over Branch and Berrian (CHI weather is bad too). He should do well with his 10 carries against OAK.

without many options to play (Harrison and Holmes out hurt) I will be forced to go with Branch and Brown...this could be a double whammy! I have Chris Henry in the Pittsburgh game as well that is reporting bad weather. Could be a long Sunday tomorrow!

Quarter inch of snow during the day in Chicago now being covered with a coat of sleet and freezing rain, which has been coming down steady for several hours now.

Oh, the weather outside is frightful...
No doubt, it was so cold today I had to wear a long sleeved shirt ALL DAY LONG. And will probably have to during the game tomorrow.
Wow, that does sound bad...I actually had to find my thicker knit polo today to go with my cargo shorts and sandals. Come to think of it, the A/C still had to run today too. GB the harsh climate in central Florida, just don't know how we do it!

It's either Palmer or Hass and I know the Link will be in better shape than Heinz. Why can't everyone just play in a dome?

Because weather games are the best games ever. When it comes down to good NFL games or prime stat-sriven FF games, FF can kiss my tuckus. I want to see mud, rain and snow. I was great to get weather at the SB last year, and most weather games don't end like the Miami Pittsburgh one did. Every other stadium in the league has an actual playing surface.

Yeah, I have to start Hass or Big Ben. No clue what I am going to do. Hass with bad ribs, no Hackett, SA back, on the road, and freezing rain. Or Ben with no Holmes and a soupy field. Ugh.

Hass who's on pace for a record year, with his true main WR still going strong (Engram) and his paper #1 back (Branch). And a commitment to passing that won't change because Mr 2.3 YPC is back in the lineup. I have Roth myself in a game against Romo, loser sits out the playoff, and would love to throw Hass in there instead of Roth.

Bad weather in the Northeast and Mideast, so a lot of options are in bad weather. Why worry, just start your best and hope for the best.
