Friend in need of a prosthetic leg looking for a contact at Ottobock (1 Viewer)

Hello All,

As a long time member of the message boards (Ken Maxwell), I have a favor to ask of the FFA. A friend of mine from the Caribbean recently had an accident and lost her leg above the knee. While they have universal medical coverage, I doubt it covers too much in the area of prosthetics.

I am wondering if anyone has a connection to the company Ottobock or a similar company.

At $50K apiece it would be nice to know if these things are worth it, or if their are other channels to make it more affordable.
