What is going on at FUSE TV?
I have watched two movies on this station and noticed the same absurd censorship in both,
The first movie was "The Runaways" The Joan Jett, Cherry Currie "bio"
They blurred out the scenes of these young teenage vixens smoking weed and taking pills but were okay showing these same underage girls participating in homosexual activities. In another scene Cherry teaches a young Joan Jett how to use the shower head to masturbate,
Not that I care one way or the other, but I found it odd that they would censor the drug abuse and leave the sexual overtones alone.
Then over the weekend the movie "13" caught my attention. It's a pretty good flick about a man who gets caught up in an underground gambling ring were the game of chance is a Mexican Standoff form of Russian Roulette. As you can guess, the movie is very violent and graphic. Fuse has no problem showing these participants blasting each other in the head at point blank range, and brains and blood being splattered all over the place, However, when one of the players injects himself with heroin so he can continue the game, FUSE pixelated the needle being inserted into his arm.
I have no idea why a cable station would feel the need to this.
