Future Hall of Famer - name 1 early (1 Viewer)

LeSean McCoy: So far it seems the case. He is unbelievably elusive in space, his speed is second only to Chris Johnson's and he can break tackles on top of all the other talents. This kid is simply a machine.
I don't think he is one of the 10 fastest backs in the league. He's very quick and shifty, but his top end speed isn't very good.

Clay Matthews until he fails a PED test
 HOF bloodlines.
He has had a remarkable weight gain from 165 lbs as a junior in high school to 225 lbs as a red shirt freshman at USC. Sixty pounds of muscle mass added in three years rising to a 81 lb gain by his final year at USC when his weight was 246 lbs. Once they start testing for HGH this may be put to rest one way or the other.
Coincidentally, he has the same forehead and jaw as every dude in the WWE.
http://www.med.unsw.edu.au/NDARCWeb.nsf/resources/NDARCFact_Drugs2/$file/HGH+NDARC+FACT+SHEET.pdf"One of the most common side effects of hGH misuse is acromegaly. The onset of this disorderbegins with an overgrowth of bone and connective tissue that leads to a change in facialappearance, such as a protruding jaw and eyebrow bones. Acromegaly can also lead toabnormal growth of the hands and feet, and a shortened life expectancy."

Percy Harvin? If he can stay healthy and get some QB play I could see it happening. Maybe it's my purple shaded glasses.
It is your purple-shaded glasses without a doubt. There is a laundry list of exceptional WRs still waiting to get into the hall. Andre Johnson and Calvin Johnson are going to get in if they stay healthy. Great WRs like V-Jax and Miles Austin stand a snowball's chance in hell of getting in. And Percy Harvin of all people is going to get in? Not a chance.

I'm 99% sure his best 40 time was 4.25. Compared to CJ2K's 4.24 at the combine I'd say he is definitely up there. I could be wrong about 4.25 but I remember reason about that when he was coming into the league.

BJ Raji might. He's become as big a force as anyone in that world championship defense. He plays end, nose, whatever. He's a beast. And he's already got the ring.
Raji might also be a longer shot possibilities.
B.J. Raji is my choice. As noted, he has a ring already and has been an absolute beast at NT. His INT for a TD in the NFC championship game is one of those memorable plays that always seems to help a candidate as well.
Raji is not merely a beast, he is the LYNCHPIN of the GB defense. Take Raji out and the other team will run up the gut for seven yards a carry. Raji plays almost every play. The Packers proved they could win the SB without Finley. I think they would have a shot even if Flynn had to replace A-Rod. But if they lose Raji, it is all over. They simply cannot stop other teams without their lynchpin. He is on an excellent hall of fame trajectory.

Here you go..
McCoy was considered "One of the country's elite running back prospects...rated the nation's No. 7 running back by Scout.com"[4] A 2006 ESPN evaluation described him as "lightning in a bottle every time he touches the ball."[5]

At the 2004 State College NIKE Training Camp, LeSean McCoy recorded a 4.25 40 yard dash, the fastest of the event.

In 2004... 7 years ago. McCoy isn't that fast and it's rare anyone is that fast. McCoy ran a 4.52 at his pro day.

Suh is the obvious one.

Mike Wallace has a very very small chance, considering the WRs that have NOT made it.

JPP isn't as much of a sleeper pick as someone mentioned. He's a physical anomaly playing in a very high profile position and he will get results.

Raji and Matthews are also possibilities.

I do think the whole "Matthews is on juice" thing is overblown. Not saying he isn't, but gaining that type of weight with the family genetics he has isn't that big of a deal. Dude comes from a family that has produced, what, 8 NFL football players? Hell, he could go back 30 years and he'd be the lightest Matthews playing, even back in 1980(ish)

I went from 167 in my junior year to almost 225 by the time I was 21, and I was in the Army, running all the time, no steroids in the least.

No love for Arian Foster? Agree with the DMC and Finley mentions on offense. All mentioned on defense seems like slam dunks so far in their young careers.

Suh is the only truly dominate player with 3 years or less played.

Right now, he is the ONLY guy worth mentioning.

I do wish the Hall would accept fewer players. Sadly, it is becoming the Hall of Good.

How bout start by trying to get a receiving TD first? He's closer to Hall of Shame rather than Hall of Fame at the moment.
He has 11 receiving TDs. Plus 3 KR TDs and 1 rushing.Or are you saying the HoF only count stats from the 2011 season? He's the type of play maker that has a shot, unless his team continues to do absolutely nothing for several years.

No.

Cushing and Matthews are a joy to watch and are so young that if they improve at all, I'd put them in this projections to make the Hall category.

Bradford is an obvious guess here. Above I probably went with some obvious too.

Pettigrew would be my out on a limb guy. He's quite an athlete but a tenth of a second here or there has made people not lump him in with Cook, Gresham and other top athletic "specimens." He is. He soooo is. It's game speed or somesuch and you have to see it. The other thing is like all great TEs before him, he can somehow stick his hand out and catch a ball while draped by a few defenders that look like little kids trying to tackle their big brother. He was a very good blocker day one and.... I bet he's a big deal by the end of this year. He's everything we all describe around draft time that we want TEs to be. He's almost perfect including his get to work attitude. He's got the same reaction on his fifth catch as he does on his first, on a long gainer as on a short one. I really think it's only a matter of time til he is a media darling.

Pettigrew is a very good TE in a league with some great TEs. Will be difficult for him to distinguish himself from the rest. I like Pettigrew but with TEs like Finley, Gronkowski, Hernandez, Witten, Clark, Davis and up-and-comers like Moore, Graham and others, it'll be very hard to get in.

I don't disagree on most. I think he's young enough that Clark and Witten won't be wholly considered as the same era. (hard to word) However difficult it is, I do believe he will make it. I think being special enough to surpass many of the guys you mentioned is deserving of the hall and quite a tall order for him to do. Surely the odds are against it. I do think, for the sake of this thread, that I can take that position in a discussion though.

The point of this though was Glorydays didn't think he was in the Top 10 backs in football in terms of speed. Not whether or not people slow down with age.

It's no coincidence, that all through college, Cushing and Matthews were linked to steroid rumours.. and then they hit the NFL, and Cushing get's caught.. Cushing had allegations going back to high school.

So his uncle taught him how to do roids. It's not a biggie.
He isn't on roids. He's got some of the best genetics in the NFL. That was my only point.
Crappy point, dude.
Crappy allegations, dude.
Shame on Ted Lange.

JPP. Like someone said, better each game and his ceiling is limitless. Guy is already 280 lbs (and can probably hold 290-300 w/o slowing down), quick, ragdolls blockers, plays both the pass and run better than justin tuck. Pretty amazing for a guy that's played about 40 football games in his entire life.

You see physical freaks all the time, but not with his attitude & work ethic and steep learning curve.
