The Boston Red Sox have added to baseball's best bullpen, completing a trade with the Texas Rangers for closer Eric Gagne, sources tell CBS SportsLine.com.

Gagne had a partial no-trade clause in his contract, and the Red Sox were not one of the teams among the 12 listed that Gagne would accept as a trade destination. To finalize this trade, Gagne had to waive the clause.
