***Game Thread*** Miami at San Francisco -9 (50.5) (1 Viewer)

Jordan Howard inactive - does this give Gaskin a chance at goal line carries?  (assuming there are any)
I didn't know he was Healthy Inactive, yeah I would imagine Gaskin is going to be asked to carry the load. If Miami is inclined they could trade Howard, perhaps for just a 7th but some team going to the playoffs might want him, I think he was a bad fit for Miami and a lot of fans felt that way when he was signed. Miami can eat his bonus and move him on his way. Or they could just cut him.

Mostert grabbed the 1st touch/carry of the game, McKinnon was in on 3rd down of the 1st drive.

Mostert carried it on 1st and 2nd down

Preston WIlliams has a really nice Go route for 47 yards on the 1st play to stretch the defense.

Wildcat play on 1st Down after the long pass play, kind of a weird call I though and a waste, -1 yards after their longest gain of the season.

Gaskin on a 1 on 1 tackle by the DB Allen, his 1st game since '18 and he horse collar tackles the RB.

He got a good flag call for the Phins with his hand shoved in the DB face, he also gets the call in the red zone, pushes it inside the 5 on 2nd effort.

Meaningless TD(Fabtasy) to a back up TE fro Miami-Shaheen, nicely stretched out for the TD

Miami take it right down the field, the 47 yd catch by Preston Williams triggers it all. Maybe Miami will try to throw him a couple more here and there. Parker dropped his target, sure he will rebound but Miami will have to wait until Drive #2 to try and get him warmed up. Didn't see Gesicki all that much on the last drive.

Phins off to a great start, 3n Out, offense scores a TD, Tua goes back into his genie lamp for a couple mroe weeks.

Also of Note...Miami has a Week 6 Bye now or next week and Tua would have been discussed and still could be as a potential Week 7 starter but a Fitz shocker today would likely keep him starting for a little while longer.

#92 Sieler from Miami just had his day in the Sun, Sacks Garopolo and puts San Fran in 3rd and Long, they converted on 3rd down once on this drive.

McKinnon was stood up but he did have a 2nd effort and still didn't get there...

#44 Elandon Roberts and Christian Wilkins in on the stop, another one of our guys helped as well, nice job by the Miami front 7 so far.

Ball turned over to Miami in pretty good field position around the 39 yd line.

Parker had the big catch on this drive for 28 yards to move Miami down into the red zone or close.

Down here we have seen Miami use Breida and Grant to get some unique looks and Fitz draw a very questionable QB Roughing.

I don't think it was a good call at all

-Sincerely, Phinfan

Alert: Austin Jackson on IR, 1st Round Left Tackle...

They rotate Jesse Davis to Left Tackle, he's actually not that bad or any worse than he is at Right Tackle, then they leverage Robert Hunt who was a good drat pick and he has been able to watch for a month, he starts at Right Tackle...

Well low and behold Fitz has a couple seconds to further his beard and find some guys down field.

Preston Williams and Parker both had nice catches and they were slightly longer routes, Williams ran a Go Route, that hasn't been in the playbook all year.

FitzMagic is dealing today

Great blocking, Mostert untouched until the very end and gained 35 yards?

Incredible blocking out in front of him. Seems like he has seized the lead back spot.

Preston Williams now has 3 catches and has been working the sidelines well. Miami is attacking Allen, apparently fresh off practice squad and it doesn't matter who lines up against him, Miami is looking to attack.

3-74 now for Preston Williams having a great day and just had a long throw his way that will draw a flag, #48 again for San Fran-Allen

Miami was 2nd and goal at around the 1-2 yd line, they will be facing 3rd and goal beyond the 21 now...also the TV had the score Miami 17-7 a play or two ago...

Parker just smoothed it up the sidelines for a TD vs Allen #48

Nice Nice Nice '

Miami 21-7 f they get the XP, Fitz 150+ 2TDs, nice job.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a guy get repeatedly beaten like a drum like Allen is. This isn’t exactly the 2001 Rams they are playing either.

Not sure why you'd have #48 singled up on Parker on 3rd and goal from over 20 yards out. Not a great defensive call IMO, that seemed way too easy

It's crazy how hot and cold Fitzmagic has been his whole career.

Guy can literally look like the best QB in the league some games and a QB that doesn't look like he belongs on a roster in others.

Gesicki gets behind the coverage and it's a busted play, long catch, maybe 50-60 yds at least, Miami is in business deep in San Fran territory.

70 yards they report

Miami is hitting people. Rowe just dislodged the football from Bourne, solid play. Not like Miami has been in the last couple years, this feels different.

And on the next play it's McCain on the interception and Miami has a chance to add to the lead before the Half.

31-7 would feel so good.

Miami almost gets another interception, and Miami still has timeouts if San Fran cannot advance the ball.

Another Interception, Howard returns it to the 20 yard line with 14 seconds left?

Holy Cow!

Fitzpatrick's 2-year contract ends this year. He'll ne 38 in a month.  Should Miami extend his contract?
