I believe they came into this game thinking Best would be able to run all over the Bills. They keep trying to make that come to fruition. The O-line and Best look very average. Bills are actually getting a very effective pass rush.

Are they still just trying to pound Best up the middle? Seems to me that NFL offensive minds would work harder to get him the ball in space.
 
Best sucks. The writing is on the wall. 13 carries for 30 yards against the worst run defense in the league.

The Bills have actually played decent defense the last couple of weeks. Although the Detroit playcalling is certainly helping them out a bunch. Buffalo is horrible once runners get to the second level. The LBs can't chase down anyone. But thankfully the Lions have no interest in running Best outside or trying to throw him some bubble screens.
 
Looks like the Lions have mailed this one in

Expect no effort from them the remainder of the half

Last weeks loss was too much tore what little heart they had out of them

 
Well at least Best is consistent with another 2 yd gain, geez... Hello up the middle ain't working.

What it reminds me exactly of is McFadden last year. Running Best up the middle. There is no creativity here and Bills really are playing good D.

3-5-BUF 26(8:37) (Shotgun) F.Jackson up the middle to BUF 29 for 3 yards (K.Vanden Bosch, L.Jackson). BUF-F.Jackson was injured during the play.

Saw that and then saw Ganther was in the next series so I was hoping it wasn't serious...

 
2-4-BUF 41 (2:40) F.Jackson up the middle pushed ob at DET 32 for 27 yards (C.Houston).

1-10-BUF 35 (3:20) F.Jackson up the middle to BUF 41 for 6 yards (T.McBride, Sa.Hill).

Lions sticking with the same type of plays. They really need to change the gameplan. They are going to do the usual and wait until the last 7 minutes of the game to start being aggressive.

Fred Jackson looking great in this game.

 
Interesting that the Bills have basically neutralized Suh today. Not a single tackle by him yet and they've run up the middle quite a bit.

 
Pretty amazing that Gaither has 4 carries in this game. I know Spiller is hurt, but even if were healthy, it seems like he wouldn't be getting these carries. Absolutely ridiculous.

 
Steve Johnson wiiiiiide open over the middle, would've been a huge 20+ yard gain....ball bounces right off his hands.

Best false start ever, Shawn Hill was going to get annhilated for a loss on that 4th and 1 play. The false start gave them a do-over and they hit a huge play.

 
Well, a TD with a 2 point conversion followed by a Detroit win in OT would pretty much be what's expected here by Bills fans this season. I'll be more surprised if they end up winning.

 
Hey Buffalo, you'd think you'd just straight up double both Johnson and Burleson at that point, but good job letting Johnson catch about 40 passes for 800 yards on that drive.

 
Hill never gave him a chance. Another tough Lions loss. They keep fighting these days but can't seem to pull out the close ones. Lions 0-16 "record" stays intact for another year.

 
For the life of me I can't understand why the Lions are not using Best in dump offs more. He certainly can get any where running up the middle all the time. I'm believing Best is that one hit wonder.
