Yeah, I know what you mean. At the risk of opening up a very unpleasant can of worms, I think our defense played very well and the "ugliness" of this game is mainly attributable to poor play at one particular offensive position. And that position was not RB, OL, WR or TE. Well, okay Gaines dropped a sure TD, but that wasn't the position I had in mind. I'll just leave it at that, except to say that I'd like to see the current starter at the position in question play at least a few more games so we can decide whether to lock down that player in 2009 and beyond.
