Something makes me think the Bills DST is going to be far better then their #25 ranking in the cheatsheets!

Not there, big play and a big stop.
I still like the call to go for it.
I won't disagree with you there, but it was a big stop for the Bills. Anything that helps to squish the fish.
LAst I checked the bills offense = 2 x 3 and out. Go Phish!
This Bills team has been so frustrating. I realize that Miami has a much better D than Cinci, but I don't udnerstand how the offense can llok so good, then look so bad. There should be at least one first down....

Fins showing "go for it" on 4th again? I guess when you are 0-8 it is easier to say "What the hell, lets go for it."

What the F is the deal with Mcgee not returning Kicks now?

The #1 DB in leagues that score return yardage and now he's not so much anymore.

That was about as ugly as a win can be.
Wins are wins. Just like the Bills have two really stupid and ugly losses, the win shows up in the W column.I thought that this was a classic trap game for the Bills and definitely relieved that they managed to pull it out.
Yeah, I know what you mean. At the risk of opening up a very unpleasant can of worms, I think our defense played very well and the "ugliness" of this game is mainly attributable to poor play at one particular offensive position. And that position was not RB, OL, WR or TE. Well, okay Gaines dropped a sure TD, but that wasn't the position I had in mind. I'll just leave it at that, except to say that I'd like to see the current starter at the position in question play at least a few more games so we can decide whether to lock down that player in 2009 and beyond. PM me if you need more details.

What, are you afraid Losman is going to put a hit out on you if you mention his name?

 Nice to be on the right side of one of these for a change. Losman looked like crap, hanging on to the ball for David Carr-like lengths of time. Thing is, I don't know if that's a function of the playcalling, because for some reason, there is never a short option on the screen. Do the coaches only want him to throw deep?Anyways, a win is a win. I'll take it. :banned:

nobody was open. Dolphins secondary played a great game.

Losman came through when he had to.

Don't count the Dolphins offense out, they will put up some yards today.
Every week the sportscasters do nothing but dog on the Buffalo defense and even Dodds did it again in the cheat sheets but with their performance today it moved them up into the #10 range based on points in our league. They started off very poor in weeks two and three and still should get thumped when they play NE again but they have quietly been a very good option when playing the SOS.

Don't sleep on the bills defense. Jauron has these guys playin their hearts out. George Wilson, the starting FS, is a converted practice squad WR who has played excellent.

Whitner is starting to show why they drafted him in the top 10.

Kelsay has been playing lights out.

Too bad Ko Simpson and Posluszny got injured; both are very good young players.

I'm hoping Lake Erie can deliver a nasty snow storm just in time for Sunday Night. The Patriots better not be looking past this game. I also find it odd that the schedule makers have set up the Pats with their bye week the week before they play the Bills for the past 4 years now.

Aaron - I just got back from the game. You guys aren't really hoping Losman is going to turn into anything, are you?
not sure what you mean.
I've seen you say in other threads that you thought (or some thought) Losman could be the future still...he just needed to step up now that he had his job back.I haven't seen him play much...but today was not impressive. He hits that guy in the corner of the end zone with a good throw (instead of his pick), he threw poor passes to guys wide open several times, and just seemed to have no confidence.Wondering what you (or others) see in him.
