Game Thread W10 - Pittsburgh V Cincinnati (1 Viewer)

Does no one know what is the deal with green other than vague right leg injury?
Nope. Got hurt on his TD catch, came back in and now back out, assuming with the same injury. Looked like a knee at the time, purely speculation on my part

I've found Shark Pool threads are not very responsive to questions. There are people watching the game but no-one will say if Green got on the field in that TD drive. These threads are more of a "ooh what a play!" and "TD YAH!" type of thing.

Tomlin's clock management at the end of the half was horrendous.
What did I miss? Leaving too much time?
Had a chance to get the ball back in decent field position with 30 secs or so but chose to not use his timeouts until it was too late, and left a TO on the board.
Ah gotcha. I saw them trying to run the clock going in to score before halftime, after the FG, I didn't see what happened.

No good updates by staff, and depending on the quality of posters, some teams you get great updates. Others not so much.

3 minutes ago - by Paul Dehner Jr. - WR Green's return questionable

WR A.J. Green, who injured his knee coming down off an acrobatic touchdown reception in the first quarter, was downgraded to a questionable return. Green played the second quarter with the injury but didn't come out of the locker room in the second half. There was no re-injury. Bengals RapidReports

Thank you.

I've found that many posters requesting assistance and complaining about not getting an immediate response and then not acknowledging the update they do get, tend to be whiny little #####es.

They showed AJ on the exercise bike last Bengals drive-no word on if he'll be back but he's not in locker room which is a positive.

Update from Cincy, AJ Green hyperextended his knee and it stiffened up on him during halftime. He said he should be good to go for next week though

It sounds like the Bengals' #1 CB Leon Hall is out for the season with a torn ACL. Really tough break for the team as CB depth is not good, especially with Pacman battling injuries all season.

Believe me, we all get it. We're cheering for Seattle. :X
LOL - threw the Squawks some good karma in the :penalty: department? :)Proud of the gutty performance of my Bengals, especially after the key injuries. Keeping expectations in check for this with a rookie QB and o-coordinator.Serious, though more or less a :ptts: question. I swear it looked like that first Roethlisberger TD was thrown from the 15-yard line yet it was, well, a 16-yard TD. For all the doofus challenge flags Marvin likes to throw I was quite surprised he didn't at least challenge whether he crossed the line of scrimmage there.-QG

Ben has had several of those in his career where he really gets close to penalties on throws like that.

I don't really understand the reasoning of the rule on that. "his entire body must be beyond the X yard line for it to be a penalty." Seems much harder to enforce that way, and it would be much more simple and easy to call if you could just look at where his feet are.
