Game Thread W12 - Buffalo V NY Jets (1 Viewer)

Spiller having a great drive here. Fitz looks good early as well.

Uh oh, Jets down by 7 in the 1st quarter...time to have Sanchise air it out 40+ times. Let the franchise QB get the comeback win, lmfao

Sanchez tried to throw into triple coverage and was lucky it was dropped. So far Sanchez is 0-4. YAY!!
The Jets crowd is ready to eat him alive and he looks sketchy early. After getting down 7-0 they really need to put together something on offense.

He keeps trying to bounce runs outside but overall he's made some very good cuts and had a great catch over a linebacker on a screen. The first time inside the 10 the Bills brought in Johnny White but Spiller did get two carries after that. One he hesitated too much but the other was just blown up due to poor blocking by the line. I'm just not sure if Spiller is anything more than Reggie Bush as a starting RB in the NFL (if that?). That's not bad but those owners waiting for him to start putting up Fred Jackson type numbers will probably be disappointed today.

I don't think there's anyone out there that really expected this.#1 The offensive line is a mess compared to the one Jackson has been running behind most of the year.#2 The WR group is a mess as well.#3 Jackson was playing like a top-5 RB this season.Spiller has shown nothing as a RB prior to this game and has played primarily at WR due to #2 and #3 above.

1st & gola at the 3, & Jets pass-pass...though they get a Keller TD on the 2nd attempt. Unreal how they don't run it down there

love this Sanchez guy.

5 catches and a TD for Stevie Johnson against Revis so far too.

Can't watch game...did the Jets seriously throw it all 3 downs when they had it 1st & 10 @ Buff 14 yd line??? W/ Mark Sanchez @ QB??? Hahahahah

Wtf is going on? Cbs has Buffalo recovering a muff at the 1, but now has Jets wth ball at Buffalo 36.
ball was mis-hit on the kickoff and went about 10 yards before hitting a Jet player. Jets recovered around the 36.

Beginning to think owning Holmes is a fruitless proposition!

1 TD to Keller

1 TD to Burress

Holmes 1 rec for 6 yds.

Keller and Plaxico were both wide open due to breakdowns in coverage. Easy choice for Sanchez to go to them.

Holmes has the most targets (5) on the team right now. Man, they should just let him rush it already. 2 carries for 28 yards.

As Aaron noted above, two busted coverages. Holmes did have a near reception in the end zone pop out of his hand when his body hit the ground.

I know he's mediocre at best, but Greene has 7 rushes for 46 yds, and yet they keep having Sanchez add onto his terrific 7 for 19 performance. I just don't get the love for this guy; he gets to have all the RZ & GL glory. And I say that as a Plax owner in one league.

nice drive by Keller. awesome one-handed catch and then breaks a tackle for the TD.

Searcy having a rough game.

Huge catch by Keller to get down the field, then powers into the EZ. If the Jets can get another stop, expect them to just start running the ball (I hope)

muffed punt by the Cromartie. recovered by McKelvin.

EDIT: McKelvin looked like he hurt himself pretty bad on that play.

A couple weeks ago the Jets put Joe McKnight back to return a punt, and he fumbled. Then they put Jim Leonhard in who never fumbles. Obviously, the next move was to put Antonio Cromartie, who never returns punts in. Shockingly, he fumbles

TD for Brad Smith on the first play. Ball was tipped in the air, Cromartie fell down, and Smith grabbed it for the TD.

The TD was pretty much luck by Brad Smith, but the decision to have Cromartie returning punts was completely inexcusable.
