Game Thread W12 - Seattle V St.Louis (1 Viewer)

Lets go Jackson!

Heres hoping Linehan doesn't decide to screw this up.

Expect BIG things from Seattle through the air which means St. Louis will ditch the run around the end of the 1st quarter when they go down by a field goal.

I just hope Linehan doesn't ditch the run! Let it play out buddy, you might be suprised at what happens!

For me this game comes down the Seattle pass rush. If they put lots of heat on Bulger the Rams get destroyed again. If not I think he has a chance to be successful throwing the ball. In Seattle they got to him too many times to count including 3 INTS and 5 turnovers.

I'm struggling with starting Warner vs. SF; it's a good matchup, and he's been very productive the last two starts, but he is also fragile, I fear another sack/fumble/injuried minus 2 point week from him.

My other option is Bulger, who has had three decent games in a row, not the pro bowl numbers I expected preseason, but solid. SJax is healthy, and Todd Steussie has been resigned (not sure the latter is a good thing). 6 sacks last weekend, third time this year he's been sacked that often. A month ago he threw 3 picks against Seattle, and the Seahawks pass defense has been very good all year - only two teams give up less FF points to QBs under my Redraft league's format.

Watching the Lions, Jets and Falcons on Thursday was a reminder of how much seperation there is between the elite and the also-rans. Not sure Seattle is an elite team by any stretch, but how much pride do the Rams have after starting 0-8. Two in a row is a respectable performance, but that was against an underachiever and a terrible team.

Quick question for Seattle homers:

Has any one else noticed that Sterling Sharpe never picks Seattle. He's always predicting a huge collapse. Is there some bad blood between he and Holmgren? Did their careers overlap in Green Bay?

Answered my own question...

Holmgren was the coach during his last three years in Green Bay. Each a huge year. :lmao:

at least the seahawk defense stopped the bleeding on that drive. now if they offense can find a way to get first down we'll be in business.

That's 3 picks this year because Nate broke or gave up on his route. This is why he's the 4th stringer despite the tims he makes the big plays.
