Game Thread W12 - Washington V Seattle (1 Viewer)

Really uncharacteristic start by the Seahawks D. Skins marched down the field and scored even with a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty on the Skins.

Florio going nuts on PFT talking about Chancellor getting another fine and a possible suspension for hitting Moss. Looked extremely clean to me. He clearly led with his shoulder right into Moss' chest. Their helmets touched, but it seemed apparent that it wasn't a helmet to helmet hit.

I have to admit, I have no clue how this defenseless receiver stuff works. I've seen hits like that called and others not called. It's such a grey area to me.

On first and 15, Helu had a chance to get the first down on a dump off pass. He failed to do so, lost two yards the next play, then the penalty, and they come away with zero points on that drive.

BeastMode in the endzone after a swing pass following a Browner INT. Might've gotten away with an illegal contact, though it didn't affect the pick part of the play. Not sure on the rules, looked like Browner just stood there and Gaffney ran into him while making his cut. I've seen it called and not called before. Great pick though.

I know that facemask from Wright was pretty unavoidable, but penalties has to be the #1 non-personnel issue next season.

Red Bryant making a serious push for team MVP. Looking at last year, the Hawks D went downhill immediately after he got hurt. Three blocked FGs, an INT last week and a dominant run stuffer.

Jesus, Tarvaris SUCKS. Terrible decisions and he practiced full go this week for some reason. He looks hurt to go on top of his poor decisions. And now Lynch seems to have hurt his balls.

Seattle's secondary is the troof.
Not thrilled with them this game, but in general, yes. The front 4 are even better.
Defense is gonna be elite next year, I like the direction. Tavaris isn't nearly as bad as I thought he'd be either, but he is not any kind of long-term answer. If they stop winning, they might get a QB in the draft.
I hope they keep winning since they're still in the hunt and the schedule is nice the rest of the way. I think PC and JS try to trade up for a QB in the draft.Robert Griffin III would look real nice in Seahawk blue.

100% agree with the Griffin call. They can get him in the second half of the first.

I really hope so, but I feel like they're gonna have to make a move for him.

Might be able to get RGIII in the last first, for sure in the top 20. Nick Foles in the 2nd is also a guy that should be on some radars, I like how he runs through his progressions. As a Big 12 guy, I have watched RGIII since he was a freshman. Kid has some skills.

That's fine with me. I'd hope it will be picks and not a valuable player, since we don't really have an excess of depth other than WR maybe. And Dr, TJ is exactly as bad as I thought he'd be. For as much good as he does, he has seemingly as many boneheaded plays. But like they've said a few times (considering Mora has about 5 topics he keeps recycling ad nauseum), the players love him and as long as there's an "heir apparent", I'd be fin with him starting next year as the starter.

I've also grown to really love Lynch. I wasn't a fan of his in Buffalo because of the types of his off-field issues and the fact that he seemed to be a thuggy moron. However, much like Watters, there hasn't been any negative press about him that I'm aware of and there's just no doubting his devotion to the game. He's not going to be the next stat monster like Alexander, but there's no doubt who I'd rather have out there when we need 1 yard.

Totally unacceptable penalty on Tate.

So, I will engage in an equally illegal celebration with a dram of real deal Czech absinthe!

Selfish? Tate just threw his arms up and fell to the ground. Ridiculous rule that I bet a lot of players don't even know exists.

They should. This is at least the 2nd, maybe 3rd, year that going to the ground in a celebration is a penalty. All players should know those rules. Period.

How does Tarvaris NOT get rid of the ball immediately. Bum rush blitz and he tried to take some time.

That's gotta be grounding.

eta: good.
