Wow. Shocked. I STRONGLY recommended to two friends to start Fred Taylor (given rough roster choices...) thinking both MJD and Fred would just have a field day in the second half as it would already be 28-3. Guess I'm right on 3 wrong counts.

Where the hell is MJD????
I'm convinced that the Jacksonville coaching staff has gone brain dead. MJD has one touch in almost a quarter and half here.
That's my concern, too. MJD went off last year with limited touches. Now, this year he is getting LESS touches. It makes no sense to me either. This situation is furthering my belief that Del Rio is as fickle as Shanahan and quickly becoming as much of a fantasy player killer.

MJD had a nine yard run--then gets buried next play...it's been a very odd use of this guy.
Krewe,Does it look to you like MJD doesn't have the elusiveness he had last year or is it a combination of bad run blocking and not enough opportunities? Living in the mid-atlantic region, I never see any Jags games but the clips I saw of him last year were quite impressive. So, I am wondering if you have any thoughts based on what you've seen of the Jags games.

Something is off with the Jax offense this season. Garrard is slinging the ball more than Leftwich, but they're not scoring points. Garrard is not checking down to his RB's the way Lefty did. I don't know what's going on, but as a MJD owner, I'm not happy.

I think it's a combo of all three....def. the line has been a problem, he needs to get into SOME kind of rythym and that has been lacking...then when he gets the ball, the pop we saw last year is lacking.Garrard has looked ok, but this team can't finish drives and seems to be regressing. Coaching staff has to take the hit, for preparation--or lack of it, IMHO. Their third down conv, rate this season is simply abysmal

Jax to start second half

Slant pass 9 yards

out pattern--6 yards

incomplete underneath 0 yards

pass to Northcutt-20 yards

Run--middle Taylor...no gain.

Bomb incomplete to Matt Jones

Garrard keeper 3/10 first down

Taylor loss of one

screen pass to MJD--loss on play--negated by holding call

pass to Jones incomplete--hit over the middle and drops ball--boobirds out

Pass underneath on 3/22 to Jones, short of first down drive stalls

4th and 6--lob pass to MJD, broken up---ball to ATL

9 passes, 3 runs...6 minutes...zero points

Sorry, this is not Jax football. Interesting play calling---one way to put it

Prater misses horribly on chip shot...total push to the right...might be a job opening there.

Ugly game.

The Jaguars have pretty good stats for a team averaging a point a quarter. What's going on? No turnovers, one sack, over 10 yards per pass attempt and decent rushing numbers. How haven't they put up 17 yet?

Drew no catches wtf??
He caught one earlier, negated by holding call--would have been a loss on the play anyhow
Thx - I guess it sounds like he isn't getting targets at all tho and that's my "wtf" - if the OL is that bad, the short passes outta the flat you'd think would be a good idea...
I think when you see the official FBG target stats later, you will still be saying WTF
