I thought Dallas looked better than last week. Their defense to me still is loose but it wasn't as bad as in week 1.
Tony Romo is a playmaker. We're lucky to have him. He's not only playing well, he seems to have some positive effect on Owens. I would agree if things are going well in Dallas and Owens is scoring, Owens will be happy. But I try and pay close attention even more when things aren't clicking on offense to see if there's the rolling of the eyes or whatever when there's a missed pass Owens way and I don't see it. At this point, I think Owens likes Romo.
Going into today's game, I thought it could possibly go either way and be a field goal kicking contest. I've been a little worried about the kicking game but this guy Folk looked good day. He hit a couple off the dirt that were solid. Dallas will score some point this season and Folk could be in for quite a year.
They have Chicago next week in Chicago. Obviously, that's a huge game.
Personally, I think they match up well against Chicago. Dallas's weakness is their pass coverage ATM and right now, there's a chance the Bears passing game can't take full advantage of that.
Dallas will have to play a complete game to beat the Bears. The single most important thing will be turnovers. If they come in there and Romo's running around and he gets stripped or he throws a silly INT, they will find themselves down and unable to come back vs. that D.
IF they play smart, take what's there for them and keep it into a field position game, they could then try and steal the game in the 4th quarter. The Bears are so good on D and are at home, they deserve to have the edge but I'm looking forward to seeing just how much Dallas has to improve against a team like Chicago.
