didn't mean you in particular, just gets out of hand, everyone starts asking "IS HE HURT?" every time jacobs gets a carry or someone else scores, etc.

I agree. Why don't the Giants have cheerleaders? IIRC it was because the Mara family, or at least Wellington Mara, was very conservative but I could be wrong.

I read it's from way back. Mara wanted to present the image that all the focus is on football. Must have felt cheerleaders are frivolous. If I became a co-owner at 14 like Wellington, one of the 1st things would be "We need several dozen cheerleaders around here"
