Game Thread W5 - San Diego V Denver (1 Viewer)

I've gone back to the late 70's and I can't find any game (home or away) where the Broncos lost by 38. I think I'll just give up and say no one has ever dominated the Broncos at home like this.

CBS showed the game you found earlier as the current worst home loss.

As a lifelong Bronco Fan, the best part of the team this year is knowing that LJ gets to play against them twice this year, seeing as he is on my FFB team. He may actually have a chance to break 100 yards somewhere along the way.

i know people always say this about Turner but it just seems like whenever he is in he busts a long run

Tired defense or not, they are still NFL players and he still breaks long one's all the time. I'm excited to see what he can do next year with a full time load

He looks faster than LT does this year, not sure if LT's miles are starting to catch up with him or what, but Turner looks much faster to the hole and in the open field. I'm not saying I'd start Turner because I still feel like LT is the best RB in football, but damn is he fun to watch run

With Tomlinson I think it is a little bit of mileage catching up to him, and a whole lot of Rivers not doing so well, and defenses being able to focus completly on him.

I can honestly say in my 38 years as a Bronco fan, I have never seen the home stadium this empty....this has to send a message.

But that aside, why is Cutler/Henry/Marshall in there with 2:00 left?? I mean, we stunk the joint up, why get our starters hurt in the effort in meaningless time.

Volek is kneeling with over 1 minute left when Den has all three TOs? They can't run it out, can they?

Edit: I guess they can if Denver doesn't use any of them.

that was a pretty good win for the Bolts, Rivers looked great as did the O Line.
And Jackson didn't drop any TDs. LT looked good, still not the dominant guy yet but he clearly hasn't lost a step. Time to get him back into TD mode. I thought for sure, and Marty would've done this, that they would get LT in there to score in the 2nd half to sort of "make it right" and add a little pep to LT's and the team's step. Not that this win won't of course.

 SD was dominating, but the thing that is going to stop this team from getting to the next level is a complete lack of WR threats. (and I am a huge Jackson fan since he is a Widefield grad)Every game they are going to have to resort to tricks to get LT/AG open to make things happen. As a Bronco homer, I am glad this team doesn't have a WR stud, because if they did, they would be unstopable. If they would have signed Moss instead of NE, scary!!

I'll take it. I started him this week in one league.

i really dont think they are using gimmicks to get Antonio Gates open. The guy is flat out uncoverable. He's a machine, one of my favorite NFL players to watch.

I dont think that Al would have traded him in the division, but maybe if we offered a 3rd. who knowsWith oakland at home, bye, then Houston at home, we might just be able to grab first place again.

Congrats on the Chargers utter domination of the Broncos.

but

Brady makes Moss a phenom.

Rivers makes him an average WR.

Actually, he did. On SD's first TD drive, Rivers threw a perfect pass to him and he didn't make the catch. It wouldn't have been the easiest catch, so I'm not sure it will be officially counted as a drop, but I thought he should have caught it.

Is Stokley playing? I'm seeing alot of Glen Martinez NFL.com updates...
I saw Stokley in there. How did Martinez ever get up from that wicked hit late in the game???? That dude was folded up like a lawn chair. I thought a stretcher would be brought out for sure. That was really amazing. Dude must be flexible.
