Game Thread W8 - Buffalo V Kansas City (1 Viewer)

Seriously, why not treat that last series as a four-down situation? So what if you give it up on downs and lose? I'd rather go for the win than the tie.

(Not after the sack obviously).

And this is why they should have just said "F-it" and gone for it on 4th and 25. Now you're going to lose anyway. It truly is remarkable all the different ways this team can find to lose. I'm almost starting to look forward to finding out how they'll manage to punch us in the gut again next week!!

Anyone else see Charles limping off the field after the last spike? Hope Im wrong here.

They all count the same but gosh, I wish I could burn this one from my memory.

KC @ OAK in the first meaningful game in that rivalry since 2003 next Sunday! That will be awesome!

2003? Weren't the Raiders like 4-12 or something that year while the Chiefs were 13-3?I can't even remember the last truly meaningful game. This will more or less be for first place, so definitely a big game. Raiders would be 3-0 in division with a win vs. 1-1 for KC.

2003 @ OAK was on MNF and came down to the final play...yes they were 2-4, but they had just gone to the Super Bowl and we were 6-0.

I had to leave when Buffalo had a 1st down and about 2 1/2 minutes left, and I thought, "Given the time, unless KC gets a defensive TD, Buffalo should be able to either get down and kick a winning FG or kill enough time to get a tie out of it." How wrong I was. I forgot that these are the Bills. :blackdot:

I genuinely feel sorry for the collective fan base up in Buffalo.

Maybe if every week translated into the next. Let's not forget this is the same team that got clowned by the absolutely godawful 49ers team that KC bulldozed 31-3. Very few teams are going to blow KC out when KC can put up 250+ rushing yards so easily. Especially the Raiders, who can't stop the run or attack KC's weakness on defense (pass D as a result of weak pass rush). The running game kills the clock. The Raiders simply won't get the possessions they did against the Broncos and Seahawks, 2 terrible football teams. Even if they're anything close to as good as they've been against those 2 teams, they won't get the same chances. KC will have at least 2 drives of 5, 6, 7 minutes. What was the longest Seahawks' drive, incapable of running the ball at all, 40 seconds?
