Game Thread W8 - Washington V Buffalo (1 Viewer)

Woa - really?

Chandler is 1 TD away from tying the Bills franchise record for TDs by a TE in one season?

Speaking of Bills TEs catching TDs, anyone remember Butch Rolle? He had like, what? 4 or 5 catches in one season, all of them for TDs?

:lmao:

ETA: it was 1990, and he had 3 recs for 3 TDs.

Man, either the pass rush needs to get there on the blitz, or McKelvin needs to actually keep his guy covered instead of just stopping and watching him run open the other way.

Well done by the Bills D. Skins end up 3rd and 16 from the 21, Byrd blindsides Beck on a safety-blitz and the Bills block the 49-yard FG attempt.

If Fitzpatrick throws that ball more downfield instead of so far UP, then Spiller catches it in stride for a TD. Fitz HAS to do a better job on long balls.

Here's a sneaky item that most people probably overlook: the Bills kickoff coverage unit had been great and they are purposefully gameplanning using the new kickoff spot to use that to their advantage. Lindell has been instructed to purposefully kick just a tad short and put it right around the goaline. Because of that, teams are constantly running it out of the endzone and the Bills are tackling them between the 10 and 15 yardlines a LOT this season.

Also, Dareus is killing it so far this game. Having a monster game right now.

Great catch/run by Jackson, but how do you allow that as Washington in this situation?

Edit: Thigpen needs to pay attention on the sidelines. :lmao:

Oh man. The $60M man and new face of the franchise gets hurt and they immediately cut to backup Tyler Thigpen getting drilled in the side of the head by a football. Not a good sign at all. ;lmao:

How can you lineup that far offsides like that if you're Brad Smith? That was ridiculous as was the offensive playcall before that.

I'm so glad that Beck doesn't turn it over as much as Rex, but, well, he also doesn't really produce anything positive.

I really like this Buffalo team. Great unis, cool stadium (today aside), tortured history and 7th-rounders ballin everywhere. They're always my Sunday ticket featured team.
