Garrard safe to drop? (1 Viewer)

So with the news that Garrard will be out for a few weeks, do you feel he's safe to drop in most leagues?

Also, would any of you consider holding on to him (or any player for that matter) that you feel might help out an opponent during the playoff run?

To give you an example, one of the league leaders in my league has been riding Chad Pennington all year but continues to win due to the strength of his position players. Garrard would seem to be an upgrade over Pennington during the last couple of weeks of the fantasy season and during the playoffs. Would you consider holding on to an injured player such as Garrard simply to keep another owner from having him?

I am holding onto him. I am 6-1 and Garrard backs up Romo and Roethlisberger for me. I can afford to have him miss a month.

But I can see someone with limited roster space to drop him if they need someone now to get them to the playoffs.

He's backing up Palmer so I'll keep him for the month or so he'll be out.

Im in a start 2 QB league. Griese/Kitna are my guys going forward BUT I may have to drop Mr. Garrard for another backup.

I have Ben, Warner, Edwards and Garrard in a dynasty league. I'm actually considering dropping him for Clemens.
