Don't know what to make of this news From Rotoworld:

Bears coach Lovie Smith says "hopefully" Garrett Wolfe will be a bigger part of the team's game plan going forward.

"Garrett did give us a little bit of a spark there at the end," Smith said of Wolfe's performance last Thursday night. Wolfe basically replaced Adrian Peterson in the lineup for much of the game. They figure to share work close to equally against the Vikings' top ranked run defense this week.

Could Garrett Wolfe be a sneaky sleeper this time of year, especially in PPR? He basically played the whole end of last weeks game. Any homers have insight, other than he's too small, which i don't buy until he's given a shot and proves he can't get the job done.

I've kept an eye on Wolfe ever since Benson went down. They're clearly working him in now after last week. I even wrote up Wolfe two weeks ago in the Dynasty Watch. As for people not talking about him, we talked about him on ESPN Radio in Atlantic City earlier today. The host (Mike Gill) brought him up, not me, so that means others are talking about him.

My opinion? He's a good option on Monday Night against the Vikes. They stuff the run well but struggle against the pass (or do teams throw more because they can't run? Chicken/egg....) Regardless, in PPR, Wolfe should approach 10 points or more Monday.

10 points? So do you think 5 catches or so?I could use that in my league, but I think I'll stick with Fred Jackson in a desperate situation. Still, I have Wolfe in a dynasty, so I'll definitely monitor it.

Thanks

That one handed grab tackle to throw him to the ground like a peewee player was one of the funnier plays of the year. Now, he's up against Minny and GB.

Good Luck.

He's nothing more than a 3rd down back, or a guy they put in when the Bears have no chance of winning.
so, you think he will play a lot tomorrow?
Oh, he'll play tomorrow, as he's the back up RB.I'd expect a maximum of 60 total yards and no touchdowns.Lovie Smith also said "Kyle Orton gives us the best chance to win" this week. Yawn....Hire some more of your buddies Lovie. How's that LB Coach (your former player Hardy Nickerson) working out? And how about your butt buddy Bob Babeotch working out as D-Coordinator?
