With Beason lagging behind week one and Mayo now in question I am sitting on Cushing, David Harris(whew) Keith Rivers and Bart Scott. I just traded Cedric Benson for Gary Brackett. I have enough depth at RB to lose Benson, I just hope Brackett will be a good pickup. Any thoughts on him for the rest of the season?

He has always scared me a bit, fantasy-wise, in terms of consistency. In part that's because of their system (or at least the one they employed under Dungy) and in part it's because you never know with Indy's offense what the defense ends up facing. If Manning, et al, jump out to a quick lead, then Brackett faces fewer tackle opportunities. But, if they have one of their classic run-D breakdowns, then he's in a good spot.

That actually doesn't seem like a bad trade for Benson, though. I'm sure the latter was only going to be a spot starter for you. Brackett, if you have the courage to ride him week to week, will get you some big scores--and some small ones.

i've owned brackett for a few years now. the guy's the most consistent player on my ff squad (maybe aside from welker). i start him every week with confidence and i have rarely been disappointed.

I feel the same way. He always goes under the radar but he always ends up playing descent for me. I start him weekly.

Any homers or staffers heard anything on the extent of his knee injury?

Just seen that he is not expected to play in week #3.

Does Keiaho take over the three down MLB position if Brackett is out for any extended time?
