Get Ronnie Hillman before tomorrow night's game. (1 Viewer)

With ridley and Sjax both on byes and Dwyer looking like no go, I'll be plugging him in as my RB2 behind Shady. Gulp

Do you think DEN is going to man handle CIN like they did NO? It's quite possible if Peyton and DEN's defense continue to play at such a high level. If so, Hillman could make for a decent flex. If there's 40 carries to divvy up again, you can expect Hillman to get 12-15 of them.

That's my hope.

Probably nobody has better insight into this guy than Cecil. I would love to get his take on the kid's dynasty potential. Are we talking top 10? top 5 in ppr?

I'm leaning towards starting Hillman tomorrow in PPR over Vick Ballard with Sproles out and Ronnie Brown Thursdayed.

He's just seeing garbage and breather time right? He hasn't been built into the game plan really at this point, right?
He got 14 carries last week and did a lot with them (+6 YPC). Fox has also stated his happiness with hillmans growth as a runner and pass protector (most important aspect to him seeing more time.) I'm optimistic about his chances of breaking off a big score today. Luck favors the bold. Also I don't have any other choice.

There's only a handful of full-time runners left in the NFL. You don't need 20+ touches a game to be a valuable RB anymore.

Labeling a guy "not a full-time RB" isn't that damning if he's getting 10 or more touches a game.

Last week against horrible saints run d was his only game with that many touches though, right? And McGahee had lots of touches as well. Case of gameplan for saints only?

It absolutely could have been. My point was that ultimately even if a RB is just a "12 touch per game back" there is still value there. Doesn't have to be an every down guy to still produce enough to be useful for FF.
