What do you think of their chances?

3 DEs that are terrific, rock solid MLB.

Their O-line may be playing the best of any in football right now...maybe not but real real well

Trenches coverred there.

Running game has been very good. Usually a key in the playoffs.

Eli's Eli though and the secondary could be better

I don't think they can win in spite of Eli in the playoffs. I agree with the O-line. However, they don't get to play a raw rookie QB led team in the playoffs unfortunately.

Until Eli proves he can play at a high level when the temp is low, I'll assume he can't.

The OL is not playing great; what are you guys watching? This week they ran block really well (and they usually do), but they also failed to get any movement on 4 straight goal line plays and got stuffed (great lines do not allow that to happen) and they also failed on a few other short yardage plays. Their pass protection is not good as Eli get creamed usually. Yesterday the protection was better, but Buffalo is fairly weak and injured. As for issues, Eli is OK, but the players around need to step up. Toomer had his best game this year and he still made a HUGE and horrible play by failing to come back for a ball and in fact took a step away from the ball and allowed McGee to step in front for a pick. That is a rookie/bush league play by Toomer and if I were Eli I would have gotten in his grill. Toomer just doesn't know how to come back and he causes INT's. Plax is hobbled terribly and should not play next week as he is a shell of himself. Moss is injured and stinks and the guy I thought would be good Steve Smith, dropped a perfectly thrown 50 yard pass right in his hands. There is no TE on the roster and none of the backs (maybe Bradshaw?) can catch well. So with an OL that doesn't pass protect well and no receivers how can Elie be successful? The Giants are a little soft in the middle of the line and outside linebackers. The secondary is mediocre at best. With the injuries they have they are going to struggle to win one game in the postseasonI am a Giant fan, but they are going to war without many bullets.

Fair point. I felt like they were all waiting for Brandon to come in and clearly lost their fire there but, 300(roughly) yards rushing is phenomenal. IIRC a few runs the back went untouched too.The Eagles and Cowboys have sent (seemingly) every player but the safety in to blitz Eli as that's a glaring weakness and they handled it pretty good. Those are two very good Ds when they want to be. I don't imagine Eli's indecision is easy to block for so I may be giving them a little more credit than their due.

I think you're harping on one Toomer play. You're a Giants fan so you can imagine why with all the previous catches he's made and all. He's clearly declining with age but I still think he's OK.The Giants don't seem to do well unless Plax does, at least most of the time. I have nothing nice to say about the way he never practices even in TC and spring but when he's "on" he's one of the best WRs in the game.I still think Smith will be one of the best WRs from this rookie class.Boss has looked pretty good at times.Brady(and others) have done better with less so I'm not so apt to give Eli a pass in this regard.

I agree except when Tuck gets in the middle, I just love watching him play. Thanks for the reply
