This morning in homeroom we watched one of those "pass it on" videos. Today's theme was Civility. The kids had to answer some questions about the video. One of them was "have you ever been in an argument that went too far and got out of hand?"
I said something like "Isn't that how most fights at school start? One person says something. Another person says something else. And then the next thing you know there's a fight and somebody is getting hit in the head with a shovel."
90% of the kids knew exactly what I was talking about.
Oh sure, and then bada boom, bada bing, global warming and suddenly rednecks with shovels are controlling the Arctic shipping lanes. No thank you.
So you dig her too?Also, shovel girl did not die (contrary to fake news story spreading on twitter), she lives outside of Dayton OH, her name is Miranda Fugate, she went to the hospital eight hours after getting hit in the head with a shovel, and she's kind of hot.
