**GMEN at JAGS** (-3)(43.5) 5-1 NY team vs a 2-4 FL team, anything seem off here? (1 Viewer)

Yes there is something off here. Vegas has joined the talking heads who, pardon my french, are "poo-pooing" Big Blue.
Buddy Ryan used to criticize Chris Carter saying "All he does is score touchdowns"
All Brain Daboll does is win games...

Giants- 27
Jaguars- 23

Okay, so I'm not the only one scratching my head over the Giants as a 3 point underdog. Isn't this the definition of a trap game? Staying away betting on this one, though I tempted to go contrarian on myself and bet the Jags.

I have had a lot of hope for Trevor Lawrence, Christian Kirk and the entire offense. That said, there hasn't been much to get excited about the last couple weeks, not sure what Vegas is thinking in this one.

-Weather to my knowledge is beautiful today. 70 degrees and clear skies.
-Marvin Jones might not be available today. Kirk will see a lot of targets but look for a 2nd receiver for Jax, could be Zay Jones who Lawrence likes to throw to, could also be Engram at TE.
-Giants are going to pound the ball with Barkley and try to set up Jones to anyone on play action.

I'll step out there since Vegas is BEGGING you to take the Giants today, no logic in it really. JAX winning isn't even an upset apparently.

Jacksonville 22...NY Giants 20, somehow the Jags win but don't cover, that's what I'm shooting for since nothing about this game makes a lot of sense.

this is the logic a friend made about the Giants/Jags game:
every game the giants have played so far has been a 1 score game, the jags are 8th in team dvoa while the giants are 18th, there would be so much money on the jags if the giants were favs

okay put it this way, the giants have only led for 23.3% of their offensive snaps this year, thats 25th in the NFL. The jags are at 40.3% which is 9th in the league. The Jags have basically been the best team with a losing record by far this year and the Giants are the worst team with a winning record, thats why its -3.

it will be funny though if the jags do win because media people will call it up an upset even when the line says it is in fact not an upset

Should be interesting much much Landon Collins we'll see. I dunno if he can go 30-40 snaps on D just off the practice squad.

Good job by JAX driving on their opening possession, if they can answer with a TD

Etienne!!!

looks like we have an incredible game in front of us. What a start to a football game if you like offense

Jags did a great job of taking advantage of the Giants blitzing. These WRs are the best group Giants have faced in awhile, they have their work cut out for them.

Was seeing this as a coin flip game TBH. Jags are scrappy and definitely improved. Giants seem to have been lucky to this point this year. Not a bad team, but not a 5-1 type team

I HATE that roughing call on Love. Zay Jones ran down the sidelines and as Love launched in the air Jones stepped oot of bounds. What is Love supposed to do?

Giants needed that one. D hasn't been able stop them at all. McKinney punches it out of Etienne's hands. fumbles into the end zone. Love recovers

Giants just hang around and hang around not making mistakes... and even when they actually do they get bailed out by penalties by the other team. Daniel Jones 1 yard TD sneak after a end zone Defensive PI has them up 20-17 with 5 minutes plus left in the 4th

All the Giants have to do is the same thing they've been doing - no mistakes. They have a chance to run it out with 4 minutes left.
