goal line guys (1 Viewer)

We all know that with the advent of more RB committees in the NFL it’s getting harder to both draft and then determine fantasy RB starters. I’m looking for some well educated advice (and reasons for the advice) from insiders, homers, experts, etc. on who the likely goal line guys will be for these NFL teams ---

Tenn

NYG

Miami

New Orleans

Philly

Dallas

Jets

Baltimore

Indy

Steelers

If I missed a thread on this question please accept my apologies and steer me right.

Tenn - You're kidding, right?

NYG - see Tenn

Miami - Ronnie Brown

New Orleans - Pierre Thomas

Philly - Who knows? The Eagles will have the most lopsided Pass:Run TD ratio in the league.

Dallas - see Tenn & NYG

Jets - Thomas Jones

Baltimore - Willis McGahee

Indy - Likely an even split between Brown and Addai

Steelers - I can't see anyone other then Mendenhall getting the call as the primary goal line guy

I can't imagine anyone else but McClain taking the rock for BAL in a goal line situation.

Below is a look at all the tandems in the NFL where teams are expected to share carries among at least two running backs. There are seven teams where we don't see a tandem at all -- Cincinnati (Benson), Houston (Slaton), Jacksonville (Jones-Drew), Green Bay (Grant), Chicago (Forte), Detroit (Smith) and St. Louis (Jackson) -- but when it comes to tandems and running back by committee, we have you covered. The draft values are based on a standard-scoring 12-team league and the numbers listed reflect the percentage of touches in that partuicular situation.
