I'm in two leagues that use online drafting sites to conduct their drafts.
The first is at noon Sunday. The second was originally scheduled for Sunday night when I joined and now it's been moved to 2 pm Sunday.
The first league is done live and on the phone with picks being entered in Sportsline. The second league is a straight online draft on Yahoo.
I use Draft Dominator to keep up with the draft. I'll look a their recommendation of remaining players and make my own decision. I love how quickly it lets me look at player lists at a glance, look at the rosters of other teams at a glance, etc.
My original plan was to open up an Internet browser window for each league and then open each league in Draft Dominator and go back and forth and make my picks. That sounds like a recipe for disaster trying to go back and forth in four different windows while examining player lists and then making my own decision. For example, I like James Starks a lot better right now then the PJs in Dominator. I don't want to be scurrying through a decision and miss his name half way down the list because I'm on the clock at the same time in both leagues.
I think I'll be better off doing my own pre-draft ranking lists for each league online then I only have to keep up with two windows. What a pain in the ###, especially in Yahoo which isn't nearly as flexible as Sportsline.
Thoughts and or advice?
I know there are guys on here that have done a lot of this. What are some rookie mistakes that I need to avoid?
