Supposed to come into Seattle this weekend to face his former team but the DUI might interrupt that reunion just as it was the last straw severing ties to the team in the first place. Seattle might have re-signed him until the DUI. Can't even imagine how much money this cost him since his job was in jeopardy with the Bucs. I pulled for him for years but he disappointed at every turn, even when finally having a great season only to drop 4 1st downs in the SB. It's sad he;s the only Seahawk to see the end zone in the SB.

This was in the pre-SB years. I have a thing for people trying to get dry. He was doing really well on and off the field until the SB, then it was back to old Jerramy.

The 27-year-old went to trial on three DUI charges stemming from the March incident.

A jury began hearing the case Wednesday and delivered its verdict Friday morning -- guilty on all three counts, said Mike Phillips, a Scottsdale spokesman.



Stevens faces a jail sentence of at least 30 days under an Arizona law for "extreme" intoxication, where a driver has a blood alcohol content of .15 percent or higher. The legal limit in Arizona is .08 percent. Stevens' measured .20 percent when he was arrested.

Court officials said sentencing is set for Oct. 2.

If he can't get the judge to let him serve the sentence after the season then he'll miss at least 4 games in the pokey plus whatever Goodell dishes out.eta: And he'll probably be in Tent City where you get pink underwear and bologna and cheese sandwiches, the Sheriff likes to add a little humiliation to minor offenders' sentences. Living in an army tent with bologna farts is part of the deal in Maricopa County.
