Interesting will be the first person to use this in a courtroom to prove their innocence by saying that they weren't somewhere!

If you turn it off you are going to miss out on traffic updates for Google Now. If you are stuck on the interstate in traffic, and turn on Waze to find out there was an accident ahead already reported. You will wish you had the reporting on, because you would of gotten a notification.

I never turned my on, because I was of the impression that the Location service uses a fair amount of data to run constantly. I'd be interested in some of the benefits like traffinc alerts, though.

Yeah. Most major carriers began requiring limited data plans a few years ago, if you wanted to upgrade your phone at any point.

Yeah. Most major carriers began requiring limited data plans a few years ago, if you wanted to upgrade your phone at any point.

This is why I love MetroPCS. Cheap monthly payment, no data limit and excellent coverage in NYC.
