Frank Gore recanted his concussion statement and said he feels fine and will be ready for Sunday's game against the Rams.Gore stated that he was woozy from his neck getting jammed on a hit, not from a concussion. He implied that he was still a bit dazed when he stumbled near the goal-line late in the game, and that's why he didn't make it into the end zone. Gore was not given a diagnostic test, but he's been told that he wasn't concussed. He expects to practice Friday and will be in the starting lineup Sunday. Source: San Francisco Chronicle
Something fishy going on here...Gore was brought to the pressroom at the team's Santa Clara facility by members of the team's public relations department to corroborate coach Mike Singletary's assertion that the running back does not have a concussion.

I saw Gore after the play and he looked dizzy, I hope it was not a concussion but after seeing the way Gore was helped off of the field I can't help but think he has a concussion.

You got xkcd'd.
Winslow had a right to be pissed, but he went about it the wrong way. Gore got dinged and was dizzy. I read a report somewhere that he was nauseous too. Sounds like a concussion to me. You would think that the NFL would investigate being that they are so concerned with the concussion issue.
