Defending champ Levin - gone.

A quick word on why I am gone - as I said in the other thread, the lack of receivers available and actually playing in week one sunk me in a start-3 WR, 1/PPR for WR, 2/PPR for TE league. Inmy analysis of my team, I stated this was the biggest risk for me (week one) with my WR1 (SSmith) injured, Branch not in camp and the Raider duo being split up instead of on the field at the same time.

Like I said:

That's one of my greatest fears about my TE crew and the early season ? marks with my WRs. If I survive week 1-3, watch out. But, I could see myself putting up some near goose eggs for my TE and WR2/3 spots in weeks 1 to 3, and that can EASILY sink a team in this league.

And, in analyzing my team:

Overall, I am much higher on this crew's potential than others - especially as PPR producers - but I may never see their potential. Even w/Branch out till week 10, this crew could gain steam by week 2 or 3. That said, Porter's descent on the Raider's depth chart hurts. SS's hammie is a serious concern - esp. on the heels of sitting all of TC and the preseason. I could be sunk in week 1 if SS is slowed and ineffective. Branch's hold out this weekend is inevitable and Porter and Gabriel are not starting for their teams. I expect all these situations to be clear by week 2 or 3, but I need a HUGE week from both Bruce and Horn to survive week one.

Sometimes I hate it when I'm right - the rest of my squad pretty much pulled their weight, but receivers are king in this league, and mine came up the smallest I have ever seen a group of 6 ever come up in our league.Oh well, at least I won this thing last year - time to join, umm, I guess noone.

Finished with the 2nd highest score - 139 and change, and I couldnt be happier - week 1 thoughts:

Carr outscored Manning

Taylor and Lewis had good, but not outstanding games

Jacobs looks like a steal in this format at 11.12

Evans didn't do diddly, but Plax and Bryant came through with the long catches I hoped for when drafting them

Gates had a measly 2 catches

SD/CIN is going to be a beastly D combo

This was not an impressive week for my team - Peyton and Gates should only have 3 or 4 more weeks at this level or below barring injury. Needless to say, I'm stoked about how this team is coming together. As long as I dont have a week when more than 2 of Plax, Evans, Bryant, and Edwards get shut down, I should be able to hang.

Week 3 could be dangerous with no Gates and only 1 D, but Yudkin and BFred look more vulnerable to me.

Week 6 is definitely the red flag week for me. No Peyton, No Freddie, No Braylon. I need Gates and the SD D to come up big vs. SF. I need some teams to suffer injuries that make them as vulnerable as I'll be. If I can scrape by in week 6, you guys are in trouble.
