I'm going to go against the grain here and say Green. Although LT has looked good in the pre-season, I still think Green has a chance to get in the 275-300 carry range. The Jets were the number 1 rushing team last season. Plus, based on the pre-season, Green should get a few looks out of the backfield. For all the talk about LT taking touches from Green, you don't hear anything about Sproles. The Chargers aren't going to franchise a player and not give him touches. I think Charles is the more dynamic of the three. He has the highest upside. I think he has the opportunity to lose the most touches of the three with McCluster and Jones. Bottom line, for my money I'm going Green. If he can get 4.6-4.8 yards per carry with 300 carries and add maybe 20 rec to the mix, he's in line for a great season. Plus in PPR you can use a second rounder on a WR and get Green in round 3 (possibly). With Charles and Mathews you have to use a second round pick on them.
I like all three rb's and I think way to much is being made of Jones and LT I think the both coaching staffs want the young guys to win the job and only has the vets for insurance and a small or a key role. I think Charles has the most upside and is the biggest risk and Greene scares me with the unknow and his injuries in limited tiime. Matthews has looked good so far but rookies are known to hit walls and I think he will be used a ton this year. I would probably go with Greene and do my best to get LT as insurance. If we were talking dynasty I go with Matthews but again I like all three short and long term
