Colt McCoy has been tearing it up this preseason (yea I know, it's only preseason)...and Little has looked prett solid. They really don't have a true #1 WR, so he could end up being the most productive WR on the team. Anyone think he's worth a late round pick? Guys like Antonio Brown, Denarius Moore and Andre Roberts are getting a lot of attention but I haven't seen much on Little yet.

Dynasty rankings almost universally have him as the #4 guy behind Jones, Green & Ingram. I happened to have the #4 rookie pick, so I've been watching/reading as much as I can on the guy.Word is that he is hands down their best talent at the position. However, he has dealt with mental errors and drops at times in the preseason. I think that more than anything has cooled any sleeper talk this year. I don't think he is technically even a starter yet. However, if he can start to get up to speed, the Browns would be foolish not to get him on the field and get the ball in his hands. Colt has made great strides this year and with a good running game in place, there is some good upside here in the passing game. I love him for dynasty, but wouldn't waste a spot before the bye weeks in a redraft unless you have a very deep league.

I think he is similar to Moore, but I'd put Roberts and Brown ahead of him. Those two already have some roles carved out for them in their respective offenses, but with Little and Moore, there is a lot of unknown.

I think Moore is going to be starting because of injuries for Oakland. Little it may take some time but I wouldn't be surprised if he's not on the field alot after the first few weeks of the season.

Roberts will be the 2a or 2b on the Cardinals. No hope of becoming the #1 WR there.
A. Brown will be anywhere from the 2a-2d or 3 or 4. Lots of talent to share a pretty big Pittsburgh pie with Wallace, Ward, Sanders and Cotchery, not to mention Miller and Mendenhall (who looks like will finally be included in the passing game). I don't see any way he surpasses 40 catches this year, or has more than 6 in a given game.
D. Moore is closer to Brown, in the range opossibilitieses but his possibilities INCLUDE being his team's #1 and so is my favorite of those 3.
Little is nearly a lock to become his team's #1 at some point. A year off will take some time to lose the rust from, but he should be the #1 for Cleveland by season's end. MoMass is the biggest hurdle, and that's hardly frightening.
I agree that McCoy exceeds expectations this year, and Little has far more upside than the rest of these guys. We are talking about the potential for a few 100+ yard recieving days, right? If you want the guy you can count on for 3/42 every week, then I go Roberts. Little is the best bet of these to have a 10 catch game, or a 3 TD game. That's the upside we should be shooting for in FFB, you just need the patience to wait for a couple months for him to earn the coaches' trust.

I like Little a lot and own him in a keeper league where rookies are very valuable. But I would temper expectations for this year. Not only is he working a year of rust off and learning the West Coast offense and not yet starting, but everything out of camps and the preseason points to TE Evan Moore being the team's leading receiver this year. Moore is listed as a TE but often lines up wide.

Tim and Pat were pretty high on him when they went to the Browns camp a few weeks back. They said a few times how disappointed they were by the end of their trip. I'm sure he will have ups and downs, and his talent is very high, but he's young and will take time.

It depends on what you mean when you say "the Next Tampa Mike Williams". If you mean be the #1 WR on their respective team, only Denarious Moore and Greg Little have a shot at that of the names you list. If you mean put up top 15 FF WR numbers, then Andre Roberts also has an outside shot I suppose. Antonio Brown is the 4th WR on his team, that guy is getting way too much hype off one preseason game. If you want a sleeper WR on the Steelers, than take Emmanuel Sanders and not Antonio Brown.

I'm seriously thinking of dropping David Nelson for him in my keeper league. He's got great upside and I think they'll use the bye week to integrate him even more into the offense. The first 4 weeks and preseason have basically been the first he's played competitive football for over a year.

Big Browns fan here. I can tell you that Little may be a good play for dynasty but in redraft leagues this year you can stay away. Colt is really trying to force the ball to him, but really it is all short comeback passes. Timing and deep routes really are lacking in Cleveland. Plus, Little has shown no route running ability the first 4 weeks so he is going to have to develop.

Rotoworld saying he'll be outside on 2 WR sets and in the slot for 3 WR sets. If that's true, that's about perfect for fantasy production for his skill set. He could be money for the rest of the season, particularly in PPR.

I was just doing some "research" on Little for upcoming roster moves and stumbled upon this interview video of his from yesterday. I must admit, I haven't followed him very closely, but for a guy that had a ton of red flags coming out of UNC, I was very impressed with the interview. He genuinely seems like a quality kid that's extremely well-spoken and humble.

I appreciate the insight, but I find the fact that "Colt is really trying to force the ball to him" inconsistent with the idea that Little has, well, little value this year. In ppr leagues, it seems that numerous short passes would not be such a bad thing. The only true negative in your post, in my opinion, is the route running concern. Could you or anyone else expound on his perceived shortcomings at this time? It's not a surprise, as most rookies have much to learn in this area, but it also is something that figures to improve some during the season, and perhaps most of all during the bye week.I'm not expecting too much out of Little, but it seems like you could do worse than to get a potential target-leading WR (although maybe behind a TE overall) for a team that figures to trail more often than not and whose QB may be looking to force the ball his way.

Watching pre-season games here in Cleveland, it "looked" like Little was going to be very active in whatever passing game the Browns were gonna have. McCoy was looking for him alot, but most passes were short ones looking to just move the chains, but Little was making some plays, again mostly short passes. The Browns biggest problem so far is that they haven't been able to go downfield to their WR's that much, could be that McCoy just isn't built for it, right now there are alot of people in Cleveland that believe that to be true. Browns play calling has been questioned on a weekly basis on local sports talk shows also.As far as Little's value, if you need a WR4/5 who could step up and produce more as the season goes on, then Little is worth a look, I haven't really seen if he can stretch the field yet, but maybe that's the reason for starting him since that has been a problem for the Browns offense. I would definitely add him before any Bears or Rams WR right now, which isn't saying much, but he does have value in that he could get better as the season progresses, and it looks like the Browns will be playing from behind alot too.'The Jerk said:

Negative. I agree with your observations but not with your analysis. Coaches don't come out and say negative things about players, they always try to be positive. What this move really says to me is that Robiskie is done playing 45% of the offensive snaps this year which is a RIDICULOUS amount for someone as untalented as him. Little is currently playing 75% of the offensive snaps. I expect a significant amount of Robiskie's snaps to be spread out between Little and Moore, both which are more talented players. In 4 games, Little went from 3/4 on the WR depth chart to a clear cut #2. He's not done, either. The top of the depth chart will turn to 1A and 1B in the next few games once he starts showing up MoMa.

Little will finish the season as the clear cut #1 IMO. I was so high on him that I was willing to make a really bad draft pick in 1 dynasty league just to make sure he ended up on my team. Took him ahead of AJ Green because I knew if I took Green, Little would fall to this one owner who is impossible to trade with.

But I really do believe the gigantic gap between Green and Little will close significantly over the next few years. Was willing to make a bad draft pick simply to be able to watch a WR I believe in grow. I find that enjoyable in dynasties.

I'm going to leave Nelson in my lineup this week. I'd probably say go with Heyward-Bey if you're the underdog and need a huge game. Little would probably be safer to get you 10 points if you just need a steady game...Heyward-Bey disappears sometimes, though I haven't watched the last 2 Raiders games yet...maybe you should look through the forums to see what some people are saying about him.Also, keep an eye on Joe Haden. I think he's injured...if he doesn't play it's a significant boost to Heyward-Bey.
