Before this the only TE's on their roster were Hernandez and Gronk #1.

I was wondering if they were really going to go with 2 TE's and no real swing FB. This solves that. "Blocking specialist"....

They only have 2 right now, and were looking to keep Yeatman on their practice squad (he was picked up by Miami on waivers). So, with only two TEs that will be ustilized all season long, they needed some sort of insurance.

Maybe I was thinking of previous seasons where they had like 5. Didn't realize Gronk and aaron were the only 2 this year.

Mills and Yeatman were claimed, I think they were hoping to get at least one or both onto the practice squad.It's rare to have just 2 TEs on the roster for a BB team. I think this is a solid pick up, as they can definitelyuse a strictly blocking TE.

I didn't either, actually. I was trying to think of who else was on the roster besides those two, and had to check their website.

Mills and Yeatman were claimed, I think they were hoping to get at least one or both onto the practice squad.It's rare to have just 2 TEs on the roster for a BB team. I think this is a solid pick up, as they can definitelyuse a strictly blocking TE.

They might use Solder as a possible TE too in certain situations - with the OL situation now relatively stable, there's been some chatter that BB might use Solder in a hybrid TE/T role this season, considering he converted from TE to T in college. Also, considering his frame right now, he looks much more like a TE than a T.
