HAPPY BARRACK OBAMA DAY (1 Viewer)

I wasn't.   Check your privilege.   I now pay 1700 a month with a 5000 ded. 80/20  for 4 people.
:jawdrop: Good GAWD....$1700/...what? Per year?

Yeah...please take away my private insurance where I pay $175/mo (2 ppl) ...$350 individual deductible, $6500 MAX-out of pocket, and $35 office co-pay.

I know that I'll be voting Democrat!

Sounds like ACA is working great for you.

I would...but my health insurance is offered through my employer..

....something that Democrats are hoping to eliminate.
Some Democrats yes...in order to ease the burden on both employers and employees and to not tie healthcare to employment (something Im sure the many many unemployed during a health pandemic would be interested in vs the high COBRA premiums)

Biden wants to do this?

Doesn't Medicare For All poll at like 70% approval rates though?

I love polls....

no way to skew them to favor one opinion over another.
Take a poll of my fellow employees and post the results.

Biden wants what the DNC tells him to want.

Biden wants to eliminate private insurance?

Polls questions are pretty much "do you want Medicare for all" yes or no. "Do you want a Public Option" yes or no.  It's pretty popular.

What is Trump plan for HC? Was a big thing in his campaign and a couple weeks ago he promised big news.

That doesn't seem to be the case.

This was a big point of contention during the Dem debates. He was laughing at Bernie and Warren's plans saying they cost too much. They in turn were calling him a crony of the HC industry IIRC.

So your employer pays for the majority of your health insurance costs.

Many employers do and some people here don’t like that.
Makes sense.  I'd really like to have that extra money from my employer in my paycheck and then I could make my own choice.   I just max out my HSA and hope I don't spend more than $6K year in deductibles.

We used to have 2 choices - now it is just one (we have two choices of deductible but both BCBS PPO plans)

So your employer pays for the majority of your health insurance costs.
Absolutely...it's called a, "perk"....an incentive offered by my employer to me, to work for them
