Screwdrivers & Bloody Mary's and some beer for the afternoon, but will probably be pretty tame. Kid dictates the pace today. And my wife has him in some brokeback mountain gear looking thing. At least it looks like we will be leaving in the next 1/2 hour.Happy Mardi Gras guys! Drink a Hurricane and a Hand Granade for me.

Have the crowds really been that good? Just out of curiosity, I looked on Expedia yesterday, and there were tons of rooms at decent hotels in and around the FQ for last night and tonight for <$200. Weeks ago. Fat Tuesday is the last day of the season. Lent starts Wednesday.
Nice work. I still have about 8 hours before I get to go out. I would now, but no one in Peoria is out yet. Not much of a Mardi Gras celebration here.

Got a half dozen yesterday. Just like my Bacia used to make. The best part is that I didn't give up anything for Lent so I can keep eating them today.
