Hi guys! I am sure of the veteran baseball fans on this board can appreciate this. I got a few minutes today with Baseball Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew.

I've heard that he's about the nicest professional athlete you could meet.

I don't have a link, but I do remember watching with my brother an interview that he gave years ago. He was asked with the smaller strike zone and shorter fences how many home runs a season he would hit if he played today. His answer was 39. The announcer questioned why he would pick such a low number. Harmon simply replied, "I am 57 years old".

I like what he said about Mantle. Just confirms what everyone else said about the guy.
