Harry Reid beat-up by brother? (1 Viewer)

http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2015/04/15/what_i_heard_about_harry_reid

Rush Limbaugh claiming inside info on Harry Reid beating.

Let me tell you a little story. It's a couple of weeks ago now, I got an e-mail from John Hinderaker at Power Line, and he said ...... Hinderaker writes: "On Monday I got a phone call from a man named Easton Elliott. We talked briefly on Monday, and have had additional telephone conversations since then. Elliott*," with an asterisk, "is a businessman who lives in the Las Vegas area, and he thinks he knows what really happened to Harry Reid. This is the story as he related it to me." ....
If you go the source it now says this:

UPDATE: Elliott/Pfeifer has now recanted his story.

Tl;dr, but it looks like a full recant.

wanting a senator to be punched in the face is stupid

if people wanted the president to get hit by a shoe they were equally stupid

Question for those of you on the right who defend their colleagues' hateful mud-slinging nonsense with claims that "both sides do it":

Can you find me an example of multiple high-profile left-wing bloggers and journalists running with a total horse#### tabloid story someone just made up? And a related thread in this forum where several left-leaning posters celebrate alleged violence against a prominent Republican politican by saying that the fictional assailant is a hero who did us all a favor? Thanks, I'll hang up and listen.
Harry Reid apparently totally made up the "Mitt Romney paid no taxes" story. It was widely reported in the press. I don't think it will be as hard to find examples as you think. There were also some crazy reported rumors about Sarah Palin's baby, as I recall.
Yet oddly he categorically refused to submit his tax returns. Would have been pretty easy to verify. I don't think anybody ever said he paid no taxes. but his burden was much lower than the average American which completely destroyed some of the central themes of his campaign. His refusal to submit his tax returns was damning, but not as bad as the info actually on them. ALLEGEDLY

I think we already know that the Clinton Foundation under-reported donations in five separate returns, but do we think that Bill and Hillary Clinton and the Foundation (and all candidates for that matter) should be releasing their tax returns in full now?

I'm all for it. Should be SOP.

Oh wait FOUNDATION? I thought we were talking about personal tax returns.

So any organization a candidate has ever been associated with should have to release their returns? I guess I'm cool with that too as long as it cuts both ways. It's gonna get hairy tho. Big Republican field, Lots of coo coo stuff out there I bet. UNLEASH THE HOUNDS!

Ok leave the Foundation out of it, it's kind of a special case. I'm just saying all presidential candidates and their personal returns. I think other stuff should be released to as a matter of course, and it might be a good idea if there was some defined list of documents (like medical records) that they all had to release by some specific date.
