Harvin or Julio the rest of the way (1 Viewer)

Skirting the border with this thread.

I think Julio will be better in all formats (save return leagues) going forward.

Better team, better offense. He hit a wall early, tough defenses bracketing him after his week 1 blow up. Roddy and Gonzo have guaranteed that coverage will be stretched thin for the rest of the way.

thx

I might be in the minority, but I prefer Harvin. But this is more due to my preference for WRs who are absolute #1s on their roster, especially in PPR.

Julio has had some great games, but he's also had 2 very low scoring games. Percy has had one, but I would expect that his norm would be more stable, which to me is the most important aspect come December. Not sure if this is really true, but this is always the way I've tried making my teams (I used to have this debate on preferring Westbrook to Peterson when ADP broke out).

thanks, I am really torn on this one myself.

Totally agree. Harvin is not the best WR in the league, but he is for the most part really consistent scoring wise. I think at such a variable position such as WR, this is gold. I know he's a rock for 10+ a week in 0.5 PPR. Julio is probably the better talent wise WR if you hold a gun to my head, but in that offense he's gonna win you weeks, and he'll lose you weeks in that offense. It's not working out as planned, but that's why I picked Larry Fitz over Julio on draft day. Larry's talent is top tier. Bad situation, but somehow does his darndest to get you consistent WR scoring. I personally put a huge premium on that vs. someone that will have a roller coaster FF season at WR.

If you are talking about trading them I wouldn't trade either. Your flex position would take a huge hit, not to mention accounting for bye weeks and any injuries that may occur. You have 3 of the top 10 receivers in the NFL at this point and those are the players that bring home the wins in ppr leagues each week. It's not like you are sitting terrible at QB either.

Julio will score more and have more yards. Harvin will have more catches. And as often and fearlessly as they use Harvin i'm concerned he will breakdown.

Has he actually been bracketed? I haven't watch their games and I'd like some confirmation on that.

Based on what I saw in just the DEN game, it looked like they were doubling him for much of the game.Couldnt say for the other games, but I couldve sworn Julio had 2/14/1 last week in what Id guess was the 4th quarter. I was happily surprised to see him end up with 10/94/1. I figured he was getting double again.
