Has anyone been to Comic Con in San Diego? (1 Viewer)

my daughter is interested in attending next summer.

I know it is typically a 4 day event, but I am unsure if I buy one ticket for all 4 days or just pick out certain days based on who is appearing...

any advice you have would be appreciated.

I'm surprised there isn't a dedicated Comic-Con thread.

It is amazingly difficult to get a ticket and apparently impossible to resell. After years of trying I just got two tickets for this year, for Friday and Saturday. I haven't been in probably 15 years. Super geeked about it.

We went last year but only managed tickets for Sunday. This year we did the returning registration and managed to get Thurs. and Sun. We tried open registration today but couldn't get Fri. or Sat.

Next up, trying to get a good hotel.

Chaka, I'm so happy for you!  Have a great time.  Feel free to PM me for any tips about attending if you want; we went in 12, 14 and 15.  Couldn't go last year due to a conflicting trip out of the country, I sort-of-foolishly failed to sign up to buy badges anyway in the pre-reg for returnees*, and I got shut out today in the "open reg" room.  But I'm glad you got in.    

*I couldn't get past the fact that I would be taking two badges away from someone who was actually able to attend.  So now we're sort of hosed again for a while, but that's okay.  I will have to find another way to get Melissa Benoist's autograph.

we did not get tickets in the lottery.  We went to the Boston Comic Con last year and she had a blast.  We are intending to go again this year and she is prepping her cosplay now.
