None taken. The poster in question said he supports players kneeling because his grandfather fought for freedom during WWII. I am simply pointing out that, though his grandfather fought for the freedoms folks enjoy in this country, it doesn't mean he necessarily supports the way some folks choose to express those rights. For instance, I doubt his grandfather enjoys seeing people burning flags. I doubt he supports white supremacy rallies. Things like that. So it seems somewhat odd to me to support everything everyone does in the name of freedom just because his grandfather fought in WWII, because his grandfather likely doesn't support many of those expressions.

Either you support the right to free speech or you don't. If you do, then you support whatever ways people choose to exercise that right. That doesn't mean you have to agree with the message.
