I'd take Faulk over Evans.

In deep leagues, Faulk is most likely gone...

Faulk definitely in PPR and normal leagues.
Evans ONLY in TD Heavy leagues and if desperate.
If both Maroney and Morris are out, Faulk is gonna be out there 60+% of the time. That's value.
But, you gotta think that Maroney is gonna be back. Sure, NE is deceptive, but it smelled of "just being safe" this past week with Maroney. He's gonna be active this week.

Pats homer here ... Evans is a complete waste of space. He is an adequate blocker and that's it. He must do a ton of stuff in practice or things on the field that I am too much a layman to notice, because all I do is cringe any time he touches a football.
He comes in occassionally on short yardage and proceeds to do nothing.
If Morris & Maroney are out concurrently, I'd expect Eckle to get into the mix in short yardage. Wouldn't be surprised at a FA signing or last minute trade either.
But from a fantasy POV stay far far far away from Evans. Completely inutile.
