Heath Miller (1 Viewer)

Had a nice start to the season - Ben seems to be struggling a little bit. Heath is potentially the #2 target in the passing game for this offence.

I could see Parker eventually struggling at the GL and Ben being called on to throw in GL packages. Heath could be a huge red-zone target.

He had a great start to the 05 season but tailed off.

Big Ben should progress as a QB this year - despite his awful start - Would Heath be a nice addition to your FF squad over someone say like Ben Watson ??

I know the Steelers have set plays in the red zone for Hines Ward - anyone know if they have some set plays for Heath Miller ??

The Steelers absolutely have set plays for Heath Miller in the red zone. In fact, the first interception thrown by Roethlisberger against the Bengals was intended for Miller in the end zone. Unfortunately the pass was a lot closer to 3 Bengal defenders than it was to Miller.I think Miller is still set for a big season. After Ward, Miller is the Steelers best receiver hands down. He should get lots of looks.

Why would you feel this way? He only has 10 targets in three games, that's pretty anemic....any reason you project a sudden uptick?

I dropped him for Eric Johnson, TE's are horrible this year in general plus I had no choice when he had his bye. He might have a good game here and there, maybe 6 TD's total which is OK. I would have kept him if I could have cut someone else, oh well.

I just picked him up off our league's waiver wire. Previous owner cut him last week for Eric Johnson. Of course Miller was on the bye and he had no #2. I think the rest of my league fell asleep at the waiver wheel. Becasue I was #10 on the free agent pecking order, I was sweating it out all week long.

Our league requires a weekly starting TE. Now I feel that I have 2 top-ten TEs in LJ Smith and Miller.

Life is good.

I drafted Miller and Dallas Clark... and now that Miller has passed his bye week I am trying to move Clark.

I think that Miller will end up in the top 10 TEs when the season is done.

Ward has admitted that he will likely have hamstring problems all year, and I can't see FWP keeping up a high pass all season. The Steelers will start using Miller a lot more soon, in my opinion.

Did Miller do anything recently to piss off the coaching staff? He seems pretty much worthless at this point.

I project that he is a massive disappointment. Rothlisberger just doesn't seem to look for him. I bought the off season hype. BS!!!

Take away the big (non-)TD in week 1 and he's about the least viable starting TE out there. Bummer. I was hoping for a big year also.

Wes Welker just made a sick catch.

Now, about Heath...doesn't it FEEL like Pittsburgh should be using the TE all the time? Heavy run game, Rothlisberger trying to progress as a passer....yet nothing, evil. I blame Coach Chin.
