I saw that Wes Welker was Questionable (team decision) :rest -[whatever that means]- and I got to thinkin'...
Given that Shanahan and Belichek amongst others play games with the injury report on a regular basis, why do they even have the report? Aside from FF reasons I can't figure why the NFL requires that teams report injuries; I'm sure coaches would rather not. Does anybody know the purpose and origin of these?
