High Five To Those Who Sucked It Up and Voted For Hillary (1 Viewer)

It wasn't easy for anyone.  If you supported Bernie it's a gut punch to pull the lever for her, despite her progressive promises and Bernie's endorsement of her.  If you lean Republican it's more like a stab in the eye.  Just wanted to give you credit for doing the right thing, which was preventing President Trump from being a thing.

Also want to give thanks to those who knew that Trump shouldn't be allowed to be President but couldn't vote for Hillary and voted for a 3rd party candidate.

She was far from my first choice but I think it could work out okay. I think she'll be able to work with congress much more effectively than Obama. Or I could easily see her being impeached, which would be fine too. We defeated fascism and that's a really good thing.

I voted for Bernie in the primary and did not want to vote for Hillary under any circumstance. I think that is what fuels most of my hate for Trump as he is so terrible he forced me to vote for her.

Well that and is a racist ##### grabbing, child raping, veteran slamming, twitter trolling, mob connected, narcissistic, lying, ignorant, sociopath.

But mainly that he made me vote Hillary.

Thank you for stepping up. It's brutal, but very needed, work.

My Johnson vote was easy in comparison.

will be interesting to see the buyers remorse once Trump is out of the picture and people realize we are stuck with her for 4 years.

yes, trump would have been worse, but Hilary is so unlikeable..  ugh..  horrible election :(

Yes, Hillary is pure crap, but I blame Republicans for giving us no option other than to elect her (I hope).

I also blame Democrats for putting Trump a #### hair away from the White House.

ETA: Which is why I hope the Libertarian party gains some traction (i.e. Federal funding)

Hillary was and is far more substantial than anyone real Republicans would have nominated. And, while i havent paid much attention, i don't think Bernie had any lower "not in a million years" #s than she did.

I really, really do not like her but of course I voted for her. I'd do it again every time because Trump is a complete fraud. I'm ashamed to be an American today, saddened, disgusted, angry. Is that all of the stages? I can't see myself getting to acceptance, ever. He is just that bad and I still don't believe so many people voted for him. This feels like an inflection point for the country and not in a good way.

Well, you at least gave it the ol college try.

Not only did I dirty myself and actually vote for her, but then she lost to Trump anyway?  This is like the ultimate nut punch.

Is this the thread where we disregard the will of the American people and minimize the negative impact of failed policy for the working class?

Awesome work here.

pretty sure that happened when you guys nominated Hillary in the first place and my guys nominated Donald. This was never going to end well, we were screwed months ago.

I am proud to have voted for Hillary. I expect in decades to come that I will proud to tell my grandchildren that I supported her and donated money to her campaign.

To which your grandchildren will moan and ask,  'Why didn't you support Bernie?   :wall: "
