in a sea of noise, certain highlights may roar off the screen...

recent examples for me below*... i had seen some of them, but the first youtube was 9 minutes, and i definitely saw new things...

ryan williams

some negatives (injuries as prep, at VT and before taking a single snap in live action as a rookie... lacks elite speed), but among other things that stood out (he has pretty good speed, decent size ((listed 5'9" 210")), power and elusiveness), was the at times, absurd, gyroscopic balance... whether he becomes this runner again is a different question...

* feel free to add others examples, i may add others that come to mind (i remember eric berry really jumped out, etc...)

Very good vision, cut-back and spin moves. Lewis has good wiggle and hip movement that makes people miss. He is deceptively strong for his stature, with excellent leg drive. Lacking super speed, but still very fast with outstanding initial burst.

These are his freshman highlights.

Some things that stuck out to me: He only has one gear, which is pretty fast. Seemed to have really good acceleration to get to that gear. Not sure he showed much patience though, ran into his blockers several times. So after watching that I wanted to see how Beanie compared: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qcH2c64qv0

And Beanie looks so much better. He's noticeably faster IMO, and breaks tackles with his size/strength (I don't recall seeing any broken tackles on RW's highlights), and has a nose for the end zone.

The only way RW makes an impact IMO is on 3rd down catching passes, or as a backup when Beanie is out.
