Hockenson for Collins (1 Viewer)

Had some trades fall through but am now looking at receiving Hockenson for Collins and at most a 2026 late (assuming) second rounder. I’ve held out on this move for quite awhile in hopes that Pitts and Arthur Smith would get along. Making this move puts Hock at my TE spot, Nico is out from flex and would be filled by: Bateman, R. Moore, or Pitts. 12 team, 1/2 ppr, 1 qb, deep bench, W/rb/Te flex, dynasty.

Current Roster
Qb: Lamar Jackson
RB1: Breece Hall
RB2: Bijan Robinson
WR1: AJ Brown
WR2: Amon-Ra St Brown
WR3: Jaylen Waddle
Flex 1: Brandon Aiyuk
Flex 2: Nico Collins
TE: Kyle Pitts
Bench: Deshaun Watson, Justice Hill, Darius Slayton, Rondale Moore, Rashod Bateman, various other stinkers.

Side note, I could also do Nico for McBride + a pick but I’m not sure I’m sold on McBride long term just yet. I believe Hock will be a stud for another 3-5 years. Knowing he’ll take a small dip when Jefferson returns. Also, I’m a Vikings fan, so there’s that

I don’t disagree. On one hand I think it lowers ceiling and raises floor. I think TEs have less trade value for that reason. Yet finding a consistent top 5 TE has proven difficult in recent times. In an ideal world I wouldn’t even consider this if Pitts was meeting his potential. But he hasn’t so it bandaids things until he gets it together, coming into next year I’m sure I can find some flex appeal WR. I just don’t have a ton of faith in Nico long term. Maybe I’m wrong. If I knew the Texans weren’t going to take a first round WR next spring I wouldn’t do this but a lot of mock drafts have them selecting the WR from Ohio State.
