Stephen Cooper is a monster!!

9 Tackles

1 forced fumble

2 pass defended

1 fumble recovered

WOW!!!

If he keeps going at this rate he will break the scoring record in my league!!!

Now, the best of all is that I BENCHED HIM this week!! WHY!! WHY!!! Started Rudd and Ryans instead...Cooper already scored more than those 2 in just half a game...

He will not put up these numbers against very many teams. Oakland has 23 rushing attempts with only 8 completed passes (not counting incomplete passes, because there are no tackles on those plays). That makes for a lot of tackling opportunities for Cooper in the middle of the field.

I think he is a good player, but he is not going to be an ubber stud against most teams. Great job at starting him this game knowing this was going to be Oakland's game plan.

Good job starting Cooper....But how one goes by justifying sitting Ruud and Ryans...the potential for "uber stud" performances from those 2 are higher on a weekly basis than with Cooper...

10 tackles on 23 rushing attempts sound pretty good to me... The point is, I always suspected SD's run defense is bad and Cooper is also the one who usually covers TE's.

[buzzer] ..... [/buzzer] wrong answer ... Cooper outscored Ryans on a per week basis last yearpeople look at total stats and forget the 4 week suspension

a) Go Vols!

b) Quite right, Cooper was exellent on a per-game basis last year. That said, I'd still like to see a couple more weeks before I'm comfortable with starting him, myself. But he was flying all over the place Monday night.

Sherlock....so did Zach Diles and Kirk Morrison....what does this has to do with anything? In case you need some refreshing, RYANS was hurt and bothered all year with this ankle....Why not look at the last 2 years......
